Code Management

This document depicts how to manage code in odi test manager.

What is code? 

we ca dynamically define properties(ie, code) for meta data such as

• Language eg) English, Korean
• Project Type. eg) common, odi project, spring boot project etc. any project can be named for each project to be created
• Plan Type. eg) manual, auto 
• Plan Status eg) Draft, Testing, Closed. Please pay careful attention not to modify the "Testing" property for Plan Status because the "Testing" property is essential to make a project executable. For more information please refer to Test Execution
• TC type  eg) Manual, Auto

To secure and preserve those dynamically defined properties and their use in odi manager, the code management is restricted only to system administrators. 

Prerequisites

• "System Admin" permission is required for Code management.

Code Management

코드관리를 위해 다음과 같이 코드관리 페이지로 이동한다. 

In orer to manage code, follow steps below:

1. Click "Admin" from the topmost menu
2. Click "Code Mgmt." from the left side bar

Language / Project Type

Code can be added or modified. please follow steps below:

1. Select any parent code, for instance, Lanuage, Plan Type, Plan Status etc. from the left panel 
2. Click "Create" button to create a new sub code
3. Fill in fields below 
   1. 코드 ID
   2. Code Value
   3. Sequence Num
   4. Use Y/N
   5. Description
   6. Related Info #1
   7. Related Info #2
4. Press "Save" button at the top right corner
